From the Streets of Mattapan to the Voice of a Movement
I’m DROCasso, a hip-hop artist from Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood. I was inspired by my aunt, La Atrevida, a pioneering Latina voice in Reggae en Español — she showed me the power of music to move people.
Through Panlyfe Project 333, I help serve more than 100 families every Saturday through our community food distribution with Food Rescue US Boston and City Natives. Giving back to the community that raised me is what I’m about.
